Criminology being the study of crime, and for us, a crime is exactly what has took place. Especially, considering the
amount of premeditation that took place. What we are concerned with is the methodology of investigation and the
formulation of proof. As we are fairly certain the whos and the whats will eventually be discovered, but proving this
with certainty is another matter.

During research we came across a research paper discusing the mathmatics of criminal justice, specifically the
statistics behind measurements of proof and probabilities of guilt. We wanted to take the time to write down some of
these formulations for further reflection on our own work.
