+Bill Lifsey was the previous attorney for Lamar County. He is also the preferred real estate attorney used by both the Fire Chief Douglass Matthews, and Alex Brian Abernathy.

+Bill Lifsey was the Attorney for the County of Lamar during our attempt to save our farm from a solar power plant. During that time, Lifsey represented both the county and [Brian Alex Abernathy]({{%ref "Brian Alex Abernathy" %}}) at the same time, which mostly to anyone would agree is presents a conflict of interest. We know this, because we received a letter in the mail stating as much.
