Many of you will recognize this commercial recently aired on many television channels. It shows an expecting couple
expressing their desire for a friend to be the guardian of their soon to be born child. Then out of nowhere a man popups
to remind them how expressing the desire is not enough to make it count legally.

This commercial provides an excellent analogy as to how the county evaded accountability and was allowed to grant favors
for friends, conceal public information, screw taxpayers out of millions in potential earnings, and screwed our family
out of our home. Which is, regardless of being a legal executor to the estate of our parents, the county could (and did)
legally do anything they wanted and we could not do anything about it. We probably would have had more legal options if
we were merely squaters on someone elses property (like the chief was).

Regardless of it being premeditated, us living there our entire life, or having cared for the home for over ten years
out of our own finances, according to "the law" as we were told, we had no property rights to our own home. We do also
own a property next door, but the zoning administrator made sure to drag things long enough so the statute of
limitations expired.
