+As they say, "This is the million-dollar question.", after all we have been through we still do not know what we did to deserve so much hatred. We are even unsure if those who are involved in the persecution know what we did either. It just looks more and more thuggish, and purely hateful with each passing day. Whatever great crime we are accused of committing against mankind, it can't justify the underhanded crookedness of what we have been put through. We can only grasp at straws as to what it could have been to incite the hatred we received.

+Could it have been what we wrote, maybe it was some outlandish idea we violated some a social norm, maybe it was just that we got in the way of someone else's money, or maybe there doesn't have to be a reason at all. It really doesn't matter, because the crime doesn't justify the punishment. Besides, you don't punish someone and not inform them what they are being punished for. Punishing someone who does not know or understand what they are being punished for, is like beating a blind man for being unable to see. It's just cruel, barbaric, and heartless. Not that it would matter to those who have persecuted us, who were all told of how their actions would hurt us, and every time they chose to hurt, rather than do the right thing and leave us alone.

+It could not have been anything we wrote in the paper, because we never used any names in direct reference to criticisms made, and we were not writing about any one specific person. We intentionally directed our criticisms at a mindset, which was not based off of any one person, but rather a way of thinking we have routinely encountered in our life. So, if we didn't refer to anyone in particular, it is hard to understand how we could be blamed for anything.

+The idea that we somehow managed to violate some social norm by being concerned about something happening on someone else's land is by all means preposterous. Once whatever it is that is going on travels over to our land, effects what we do, or impacts the community we have invested in, it is then undoubtedly our problem and usually too late. What surety do you have that whatever it is that is going on won't impact your property? You certainly can't take someone's word for it, because people make mistakes, have misunderstandings, and sometimes even lie. The best measurement of assurance is knowledge of whatever it is going on. Which is hardly a reason to drive someone out of the county over.

If they didn't like area the home was situated in, then they wouldn't purchase the home. The location and neighborhood of a home is one of the primary deciding factors involved in the purchase of any home.

+It is expected that what ever we said, as long as it did not make our attackers come off as the great saviors of humanity, we would be labeled as liars and fabricators of cheap propaganda.

+If it was our nature to be nosey, then don't you think you would have heard about us before Abernathy & Co. began messing with our home? Admittedly, we are not experts on what it means to be nosey, but if we were truly nosey individuals, then we would be the worst example of nosey people you could find. Having lived in the county since the late forties, there are a good number of you who didn't even know we were members of the community. Another good number of you have known us through the years, but haven't heard from us in so long, you had forgotten we exist. Hardly exemplary behavior of nosiness.

 In the spirit of full disclosure, we stopped keeping a detailed account when the county clarified its intent to completely disregard the law. At that time two projects had reached $736000 but we have since estimated the current amount of penalties for one of those projects to be a minimum of $840,000. You could easily multiply that by three, and still come short of the actual amount of penalties accumulated by the development performed by the Tyler/Simmons family. A more realistic expression would be exponentially higher, considering one violation entails a $2500 fine per day, for each day the violation continues. Not only did the developer never acknowledged the violation or invest any effort into rectifying the violation, the Zoning Administrator's refused to enforce state and federal law, which neither nullifies the existence of the violation, nor does it grant any special rights for its violation.

+This was the beginning of the slow death of our home. We desperately tried to contact the owner to purchase the land, would have paid much more than it sold for, and have every reason to believe we were intentionally robbed of the opportunity. For over sixty years our family had lived in seclusion and in privacy, it was the reason why we lived there, and it is what we gave our neighbor of over 45 years. All of that was about to be destroyed on purpose, and the Fire Chief took time off of work to help out.

+As the Chief put it himself, "I put them there beside you, because I thought they were good people." He had no idea, we had known that family since before he was born, and we knew he was being less than fully upfront about matter. There was a reason Chief Matthews and Abernathy had blocked our opportunity to purchase the land and smeared our family's reputation with the owners of property, and it had nothing to do with what Doug thought about them. You don't put that much effort into screwing someone over, just because you thought someone else has a pleasant demeanor. They put them there to force us out of the neighborhood. It is what we believed at the time, and everything that has occurred since has reinforced it.

+We looked our new neighbor in the face and told him how badly we needed the opportunity to purchase the land, that is was about the ability to instill the legacy of my Grandfather, and that we needed it in order for our farm to be profitable. Chief Matthews cannot deny he knew full well what he was doing to us, he did it to us anyway, and then he did worse. It is something we will be telling our children about and will not forget.

+It was during this time, we began to suspect an attorney was doing more than just providing legal counsel, the attorney would have had to be the one who was actually planning it all out. From up to the point in time, the way everything was done and the way every excuse was given, was too polished and coordinated to be the creation of anyone else. It is for this reason the involvement of the attorney could be considered an abuse of position as an officer of the court, becaue the attorney used his position not to practice his profession, but to knowingly give and advantage to a group of individuals, who were knowingly and intentionally intentive on inflicting irreparable damages on a member of the public they were not in litigation with.

+Suddenly we were second class citizens on our own land, and felt like we just had the farm stolen from us, and it practically had. Chief Matthews and our new neighbor's, the "buddys" of Abernathy, were both sitting high. Chief Matthews purchased the land for $150,000 less than it was listed on Redfin, our new neighbors purchased the land for $20,000 less than what we would have paid for it.

+It wouldn't stop there, and we knew it. This was Abernathy's plan to run our family into the Ground, to punish us for defending our, and doing what we believed was right. It wasn't long before this video was taken, our house was swatted over false allegations. Doug's wife happened to know about it before hand, you don't rubber neck like that unless you know what your looking at. Chief Matthews would also know all about the raid. It was Abernathy and Doug throwing their weight around. It was wrong, an abuse of authority, and proved us right.

+The gentleman across the street from us came over to acquire about selling our house, which we had no intention of doing. While he was there he asked, "Do you really believe all that stuff about solar?" Such a question was a little insulting, because we just had spent months being ridiculed for taking a stand on our research on the negative effects of solar energy, research that we still stand by. At the time, we just wanted to get along with the guy and be polite. We had grown up with his two daughters, and not had any problems with his family. The last thing we wanted to do was get into an argument, especially about solar energy.

+The guy was obviously not informed, or he wouldn't have asked such an apparently stupid question. So, rather than interpret the inquiry as slide of hands to insult our intelligence, we gave him the benefit of the doubt, and assumed he was genuinely inquiring for some reason. Even if we had confirmed the blantantly obvious truth of our beliefs with a simple "yes", there was still the opportunity of an argument to occurr, and that was what we were trying to avoid. So, admittedly we did the wrong thing, and that was to do the same thing anyone else in that situation. We told him what he wanted to hear,and have come to regret it ever since.

+Within an hour of the interaction, we realized the gentleman was playing us for a fool, and was intentionally trying to trick us. He was going to turn right around and tell every one in town that we really didn't believe in anything we had stood up for. At the time, we hoped that anyone with a nickel's worth of sense would have been able to rationalize their way through the conflicting messages. Our greatest fault in the incident is we had possessed too much faith in humanity. Within hours people started to drive by the house staring us down. Our act of charity and desire to not get in an argument would be used as fodder for a smear campaign against our family.

+Throughout everything that has happened to us since 2016, never once did anyone actually read the material provided in our references, and attack those references. Sure, Charles called an "expert" in renewable energy, the guy was an expert in biomass renewables (burning of woodchips), not photovoltaics. So, he was outside of his area of expertise, but the newspaper left that little tidbit out. He did not read, nor was he familiar with our references either. We know, because we emailed him and asked him so. Instead, everyone did what simple minded people do, they attacked our integrity and smeared our name. Weak minded people do this, because they are incapable of formulating a valid argument in defense of their claims.

The framework was not designed to allow search engines to easily index the site, and the web path uri scheme was not congruent to work with our preferred choice of web server software.
